Employer feedback is important for SYNOPTIC pre-launch stakeholder outreach and partnership development as well as feasibility study en route to Washington State Apprenticeship Training Council program approval. And prior to enrolling eligible new apprentices for nationally recognized Journeyer Certification upon program completion. Survey results inform reflexive quality program design, enterprise and workforce innovation analysis, work process schedules, curriculum development, and related technical instruction.

Apprenticeship Building America Program and Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship (OA), Employment & Training Council oversees apprenticeship programs in Washington State.   The Washington State Board Community & Technical Colleges (SBCTC) administers HB1033  (2021-2026) Washington Customized Employment Training Program, which can reduce upfront costs to employers.

Many apprenticeship programs stipulate a starting wage for apprentices that is at least ~50 to ~70%  of the professional journey-level wage. Nearly all jobs don't require experience to enter and ~60% require only a high school diploma. Apprentices must register with the WA Department of Labor & Industries and be active participants in a registered Sponsorship program for at least ~6 months to be eligible for the first full training cycle 'probationary' period employment (WAC 296-05. p.5).  Visit www.Apprenticeship.go
